A Beautiful New Year's Gift

I found this perfect rose yesterday morning on the bush by our front door. It chose to finally make its full appearance on New Year's Day. I think about this little bush that has brought us so much joy. No matter what comes at this beautiful plant - freezing temps, bugs, drought, etc., it somehow bounces back even stronger than before. It allows itself to be shaped by those challenges and keeps trying to bloom and share its beauty with the world. It just does what it was made to do.
